Blogger Guilt

I think about you.
I feel guilty.
I shove the guilt away and stop thinking about you.
I get on the computer and check other blogs.
I think about you.
I feel guilty.

FINE!

Here is a post, a mini post. Dedicated to the five people who still read my blog.

First I want you to know that I have been sleeping a lot better lately. I get to bed by midnight (which is still late for most but it's better than before.) We got Netflix so I don't feel the need to hurry and finish TV shows anymore and that has helped too. I also have been fighting off some pretty stubborn colds, so that surprisingly has helped me go to bed early.

Umm... lets see... oh yeah, I have come to the conclusion that I loathe Facebook. I will be shutting down my account on May 2. One day after my 'rents get home from Russia and one day after my birthday (why should I make it harder for people to wish me happy birthday?) I am very much looking forward to this.

That is all. No more guilt, until next time.

My Life has the Potential to be SO Much Better

I need your help, major. I am tired, really tired. Many of you might say it is because I have a new baby to contend with. Well any other child sure, but this baby has been sleeping through the night since week two.

Unfortunately, it's me. It's all me.

I don't sleep through the night. Actually what really happens is, I don't go to bed until about 2:30 AM, sometimes 3 AM. I am not staying up for anything in particular, I usually play games, or watch movies, or just what ever. So I guess what I am asking is, how do you early nighters go to bed so early? Is there something special you do? I am up for any suggestion (barring illegal activities or medication.)

I have some pretty fun things planned this year, but if I can't seem to get out of the tired fog until after midnight, and then stay up for no reason, it's just not going to happen.

I just want some pointers, advice, remedies, etc. Anyone?

Laundry Day

Today is laundry day.

Oh who am I kidding ever since Little O has joined our family EVERY DAY is laundry day.

I forgot how much laundry babies produce. It's not just her clothes, actually it's mostly my clothes, blankets, and burp cloths. It's because she 'urps' up on everything. Nothing is safe, especially unsuspecting Grandmas.

Well I guess I should go conquer the mountain of laundry. Wish me luck! Burp cloths are a rare commodity after a day and we must have our burp cloths.

Just Yesterday

Just yesterday it was 70 F. I was in my chacos and a short sleeved shirt.  I walked to pick up my boy from school. It was beautiful and I remember thinking to myself, "This is probably what its like in Phoenix all winter long, I like this kind of winter."
Today I had to dig to find my snow shoes, my winter jacket, and my beanie hat. It has been snowing all day. Sure, it is nice NOW, because it's the "holiday season", but after Christmas the cold seems to stay to spite me.

Welcome winter, welcome back to Logan. I've never missed you.

What is six a half months between friends...

Where have I been all summer? Well I have been home and at the pool and cooking (that is to be taken two ways, one it was SO hot this summer and two I was so very pregnant.) As far as actual cooking, yeah right. I didn't do that this summer. I am not one to relive most things so I will not be telling you all about my summer. Sorry.

So now its fall. And things are getting crazy and slower at the same time. I now have three kids to mother and a lot of other people's schedules to follow. I no longer have guilt about staying inside most the day and I think I can finally start writing this thing again.

Just look forward to it.

Did you miss me? What?

I hope you all are working on your tan lines. I already have defined lines, not dark, but defined.

I have some actual good excuses as to why I did not post the last two weeks. But I am going to ignore the good and tell you the "seriously?" one...

It's time.

It's time to defeat the final boss.

It's time to end the game of Zelda: Skyward Sword

It's time.

I got Skyward Sword for Christmas. I played it all of January. Then I played it most of February. Then I got to the first section of the final boss and I stopped. If past experiences serve me, Zelda games end bitter sweet.

(Spoilers)
Ocarina of Time: Oh thank you Link, now give me back my ocarina and scram...
Majoras Mask: Oh thank you Link for saving the world, now off you go...
Phantom Hour Glass: I'm not even going to say thank you, I am sailing away...
Twilight Princess: Thank you Link, but I will never see you again or try to see you again, plus you are so changed that you will never be able to go back to your home life.
Skyward Sword: ???????

I couldn't handle a sort of happy ending. Well, now it's time. I have heard that it ends better. I have heard that I won't be disappointed. I hope I can find out soon, because as it turns out these last couple of guys are really hard to beat.

I will let you know when that momentary feeling of awesomeness occurs.

Chaco Wars

Today was the second day I was able to wear my wonderful Chacos this year. I was so happy it was like visiting an old friend and finding that all is well. I suppose you can say that spring is here.

Hello Chacos my old friends
For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, it's a shoe, well a sandal, that is sturdy like a shoe. They are my favorite sandals I have ever worn.

So last summer for those of you who saw me, I had a pretty awesome Chaco tan line on my feet. Weirdly they didn't fade all the way during the winter, that is unusual for me. However I hope to get a dark Chaco line this summer so I was wondering if any of you out there that wear Chaco or similar shoes if you want to have a Chaco tan line war with me.

Take a picture of your feet this week (March 31) without your shoes on and send it to me, then at the end of the summer (August 31) send me another picture of your feet without shoes on. I know that I have converted a lot of my family to Chaco wearing, but any sandal that leaves a line will be fine to join.

Good luck, and may the best tan line win...
