I think about you.
I feel guilty.
I shove the guilt away and stop thinking about you.
I get on the computer and check other blogs.
I think about you.
I feel guilty.
FINE!
Here is a post, a mini post. Dedicated to the five people who still read my blog.
First I want you to know that I have been sleeping a lot better lately. I get to bed by midnight (which is still late for most but it's better than before.) We got Netflix so I don't feel the need to hurry and finish TV shows anymore and that has helped too. I also have been fighting off some pretty stubborn colds, so that surprisingly has helped me go to bed early.
Umm... lets see... oh yeah, I have come to the conclusion that I loathe Facebook. I will be shutting down my account on May 2. One day after my 'rents get home from Russia and one day after my birthday (why should I make it harder for people to wish me happy birthday?) I am very much looking forward to this.
That is all. No more guilt, until next time.
When ever I see the birds fly it makes me dream of going on a journey. But with life comes choices and sacrifice and I can't just go on epic adventures or journeys whenever I feel like it. My new goal is to find adventure where I am, to be happy where my feet are.

My Life has the Potential to be SO Much Better
I need your help, major. I am tired, really tired. Many of you might say it is because I have a new baby to contend with. Well any other child sure, but this baby has been sleeping through the night since week two.
Unfortunately, it's me. It's all me.
I don't sleep through the night. Actually what really happens is, I don't go to bed until about 2:30 AM, sometimes 3 AM. I am not staying up for anything in particular, I usually play games, or watch movies, or just what ever. So I guess what I am asking is, how do you early nighters go to bed so early? Is there something special you do? I am up for any suggestion (barring illegal activities or medication.)
I have some pretty fun things planned this year, but if I can't seem to get out of the tired fog until after midnight, and then stay up for no reason, it's just not going to happen.
I just want some pointers, advice, remedies, etc. Anyone?

Laundry Day
Today is laundry day.
Oh who am I kidding ever since Little O has joined our family EVERY DAY is laundry day.
I forgot how much laundry babies produce. It's not just her clothes, actually it's mostly my clothes, blankets, and burp cloths. It's because she 'urps' up on everything. Nothing is safe, especially unsuspecting Grandmas.
Well I guess I should go conquer the mountain of laundry. Wish me luck! Burp cloths are a rare commodity after a day and we must have our burp cloths.

Just Yesterday
Just yesterday it was 70 F. I was in my chacos and a short sleeved shirt. I walked to pick up my boy from school. It was beautiful and I remember thinking to myself, "This is probably what its like in Phoenix all winter long, I like this kind of winter."
Today I had to dig to find my snow shoes, my winter jacket, and my beanie hat. It has been snowing all day. Sure, it is nice NOW, because it's the "holiday season", but after Christmas the cold seems to stay to spite me.
Welcome winter, welcome back to Logan. I've never missed you.

What is six a half months between friends...
Where have I been all summer? Well I have been home and at the pool and cooking (that is to be taken two ways, one it was SO hot this summer and two I was so very pregnant.) As far as actual cooking, yeah right. I didn't do that this summer. I am not one to relive most things so I will not be telling you all about my summer. Sorry.
So now its fall. And things are getting crazy and slower at the same time. I now have three kids to mother and a lot of other people's schedules to follow. I no longer have guilt about staying inside most the day and I think I can finally start writing this thing again.
Just look forward to it.

Did you miss me? What?
I hope you all are working on your tan lines. I already have defined lines, not dark, but defined.
I have some actual good excuses as to why I did not post the last two weeks. But I am going to ignore the good and tell you the "seriously?" one...
It's time.
It's time to defeat the final boss.
It's time to end the game of Zelda: Skyward Sword
It's time.
I got Skyward Sword for Christmas. I played it all of January. Then I played it most of February. Then I got to the first section of the final boss and I stopped. If past experiences serve me, Zelda games end bitter sweet.
(Spoilers)
Ocarina of Time: Oh thank you Link, now give me back my ocarina and scram...
Majoras Mask: Oh thank you Link for saving the world, now off you go...
Phantom Hour Glass: I'm not even going to say thank you, I am sailing away...
Twilight Princess: Thank you Link, but I will never see you again or try to see you again, plus you are so changed that you will never be able to go back to your home life.
Skyward Sword: ???????
I couldn't handle a sort of happy ending. Well, now it's time. I have heard that it ends better. I have heard that I won't be disappointed. I hope I can find out soon, because as it turns out these last couple of guys are really hard to beat.
I will let you know when that momentary feeling of awesomeness occurs.

Chaco Wars
Today was the second day I was able to wear my wonderful Chacos this year. I was so happy it was like visiting an old friend and finding that all is well. I suppose you can say that spring is here.
For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, it's a shoe, well a sandal, that is sturdy like a shoe. They are my favorite sandals I have ever worn.
So last summer for those of you who saw me, I had a pretty awesome Chaco tan line on my feet. Weirdly they didn't fade all the way during the winter, that is unusual for me. However I hope to get a dark Chaco line this summer so I was wondering if any of you out there that wear Chaco or similar shoes if you want to have a Chaco tan line war with me.
Take a picture of your feet this week (March 31) without your shoes on and send it to me, then at the end of the summer (August 31) send me another picture of your feet without shoes on. I know that I have converted a lot of my family to Chaco wearing, but any sandal that leaves a line will be fine to join.
Good luck, and may the best tan line win...

To my past self...
Today is Tuesday almost a week since you were supposed to post an update. What is the deal with you skipping Wednesday? It's not like it's Thursday... I could never get a handle on Thursdays. So I am just here to tell you that your week is going to have a lot of things go wrong.
Starting with painting your kitchen. It won't take you only two long days as planned. It will take you five long days. You will not get to sleep before midnight until the following Sunday. You will step on paint and make foot prints all over the floor that are a pain to clean up. Then the paint will stay on your feet until today when you will sit in the shower and scrub and scrub and scrub.
After you finish painting you will spend all day cleaning your house and putting it back together because you are having guest over for the weekend. You will clean from the moment you wake up until five minutes before they get here.
You do have a great time with your guests. The sun is shining and you get to go down to Salt Lake City and eat at 5 Guys Burgers and shop at Pottery Barn Kids. Then you learn a new card game named Uker, it's hard to explain but simple to play. You lose miserable every time you play.
On Sunday when the minutes are rushing past and you were going to be on time to church for the first time this year, something terrible happens. You put a whole in your tights... just throw them away... fixing them will lead to black nail polish spilled all over your bedroom carpet. The smell is stronger than your recently painted walls. The whole family was late for church.
Finally on Tuesday as you are blow drying your hair, with the intent of actually getting ready for the day, your blow dryer will explode and trip the fuse in the breaker box. Fortunately you had your house rewired last year and instead of your whole house being out just your bathroom is and you know how to flip the switch.
Also you were supposed to take your kids skiing today but it's sun-shining and you just don't want to.
Good luck tomorrow when you are supposed to post, think of something great to write about. I am pretty sure since you lived this week that I am warning you about, you will find the fun things that happened too.

This is a Story of a Girl...
There once was a girl that you all know, okay it's me.
Right now I look a little like this...
Right now I look a little like this...
Pretty soon I am going to look like this...
But don't worry in September I will look like this...
So YES this is an announcement, we will soon have one more Moore. We are very happy, but the boys are incredibly excited. If you want to learn more give us a call and talk to Math or Spay they can tell you all about it.
Also I know I don't look like Barbie, well at least when I look in the mirror, otherwise I am one fine looking plastic doll.

Are you going skiing today?
My friend asked me if I was going skiing today. I had to be honest. I am totally burned out of the snow plow. I am tired of the magic carpet and the Little Beaver lift. I can ski down those runs backwards, and I do quite often. I think I have forgotten how to use my ski poles and how it feels to ski down a black. I am just kiddy hilled out.
This season has taught me a lot. I finally understand why my dad would hang back on the mountain to "watch us" ski down first. There are two reasons I have concluded...
1. To pick us up when we fall, it's a lot easier to get to your kid when you are above them then when you have to hike back up to get them
2. That way you can actually sort of ski beyond the ski plow.
Lets just say the outside of my quads are quite developed this season. I am not burned out from skiing, and I am planning on going this week. I just couldn't bring myself to do it today... maybe Friday? I do love Beaver Mountains and all of it's lifts, I am excited to ski with my kiddies and I love doing it, but today was just not one of those days. Happy Lazy Wednesday!

Say What? Yeah I Don't Know Either.
So I wanted to start blogging a little bit more frequently (say every Wednesday) and I have been thinking about what to write about all day. Lately I have been really tired, mostly because Mr 3yrs decided to stop sleeping through the night. If you must know why I will tell you the long story later... after I have gotten a good nights sleep. Anyway, the video below pretty much sums up my thoughts today for this post as I am on exhaustion NINE days running.
So yeah, from now on I will be blogging every Wednesday, I may throw somethings in before then, because this is my blog, but you can expect something on "the Wednesday." I am also going to start making videos again on Youtube so if you don't have an account there, get one, and subscribe... What? oh right, PLEASE! Okay here is hoping to an actual full night sleep. Zzzzzzzzzzz

Why Can't I Eat Fish Too?
As many of you know I have a house full of boys. Its not something that I am sad about. I really love the fact that the only one with crazy emotions is me. Well anyway, because we have boys we don't do a lot of "princess watching" unless you count Princess Leah in Star Wars. What I meant is we only own ONE Disney princess movie. The Little Mermaid is not the one. However I have been pondering a question (wow that was a long intro for one silly question.)
What do merpeople eat? If I remember correctly King Triton was angry at the land dwellers because they were fish eaters... so what did King Triton eat? Surely they didn't just live off of seaweed, which is super delicious when it's wrapped around rice and... fish. Oh, maybe this was a conspiracy to indoctrinate our children into being vegans... nah just kidding.
Well, you have just had the joy of visiting "things I ponder." Until next time!

Something's on My Mind and I Can't Get It Off.
I found out, about a week ago, that one of my Youtube "friends" died. At first I thought it was a joke, because quite frankly he has a whole Youtube channel dedicated to his practical jokes. But its not, he is gone.
I had never met the guy, he lives in the UK. The reason he was my "friend" was, he was the first to comment on my channel, the first to give me encouraging words on my videos, and he was so entertaining in his own videos. The problem is, even though I don't know this guy I feel like a really good friend is gone. I have been quite upset and confused about it.
And I quote myself: "One of my friends, well not really my friend, but someone I watch on Youtube..."
This guy was a great youtuber and had a lot of loyal followers. I think it's because he was so encouraging to others, saying how great their videos were, and I think he really meant it too. That is certainly a legacy in and of it self. I will miss his videos and encouraging words. I guess I don't really understand the impact that people have on each other. It is really quite amazing!
I feel a bit silly about this, but I just can't seem to get it off my mind.
Well here are his last two Youtube uploads. I guess this is it...

The funny thing about most youtubers is you know so much about their lives. because they are willing to share it, that you really do feel like they are your friends.

The problems with
The problem with a doing stuff blog is I am doing stuff.
The problem with doing stuff is I am so tired by the time the event is over I just want to sit.
The problem with sitting is it's not in front of the computer.
The problem with not being in front of the computer is that I forget to blog about doing stuff.
To quote (sort of) one of my favorite books, The Princess Bride,
"What with one thing and another, three [months] passed."
I have decided to make this a whatever I feel like doing and saying blog. I felt unwarranted pressure to get videos out and to blog so much that it became a burden not a release. I want this to be fun. Seriously. So...
The problem with a doing stuff blog was that it was too rigid and not fun doing stuff.
This is my blog and mine only. Its my party I can dance if I want to.

My Date with a Doctorate Student
My dating life is going down the hole. It's true. I have dated two incredibly younger boys (see post below) and now I am dating a man that has no spare time. I am definitely doing the chasing in this relationship. It's totally worth it, this guy is hot!About our date; the mood was set. We had a roaring fire, a big comfy blanket, a book of poetry by a world renowned poet, sparkling bubbly and candy covered chocolate. The night was ours to spend together, just the two of us. It was a movie magic night...
Well, it could have been, if we really used our imagination caps...
The mood was set: At the kitchen table, dishes in the sink, computers, and homework
Roaring fire: full screen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLmwmX-mni8
Book of Poetry: A Light in the Attic by Shel Silverstein, enough said.
Sparkling Bubbly: Powerade Zero and Water (that had been sitting for a bit so there were bubbles on the side of the glass)
Candy Covered Chocolate: plain M&M's (totally gross with the flavor of Powerade, bleh)
The night to spend: Ya, he is working on a big project due the next day.
It was still time spent together, maybe not undivided time, but I got to sit next to my honey and just be. Plus I totally revisited some of my childhood memories by reading A light in the Attic.
This was a date to remember...

A date with a 5 year old and a 3 year old
I took my kiddies out on a date. Just me and the boys. It was really entertaining. We went to a restaurant called Rumbi, its really good Hawaiian style food. The whole reason I went out was because I was thinking about what to have for dinner and the thought hit me. I could go to Rumbi's order a full bowl eat some for dinner and then eat the rest for breakfast. Lets just say I was craving the food.
MY CONVERSATION WITH A 5 YEAR OLD
Me: So Spay, where are you from?
Spay: Seriously mom?
Me: Yeah where are you from?
Spay: Home, duh!
Me: What do you do?
Spay: At night I go to sleep, but on school days I go to school and play
Me: What are you studying?
Spay: I am studying to listen to my teacher.
Me: Oh sounds fun
MY CONVERSATION WITH A 3 YEAR OLD
Me: So Math where are you from?
Math: Why did the duck cross the road?
Me: What do you do?
Math: You are supposed to say "I don't know, why?" mom
Me: I don't know, why?
Math: Because he wanted to get squished
Me: Math that was funny
Math: Why did the duck cross the road...?

SPOILER ALERT: I know the ending...
They split the prize money between the top four finalist of each heat and they all lived happily ever after...
Can I really write about this since it happened a over a month ago. I guess it doesn't matter, its my blog. I went to the demolition derby with several of my family members. (Super awesome fun) We had a great time watching, then someone flipped over and we had almost all the energy sucked out of us. Then it came back, just in time for the power outage to end it all. Of course for those of you who know, my family is very stubborn when it comes to rain. We will stick it out no matter what, but why? I mean we never actually play when its all over. (Remember Deer Creek my family?)
I didn't actually take any pictures with the regular camera, I was busy video recording things. I did sit next to a professional photographer, Heather from Cook Photography. Check her blog soon to see if the pictures are up. (I will update this later so it goes directly to her website page with the pictures on it) I am excited to see them soon.
We had a fun flip over but the guy didn't have a roll bar so it crushed his cab. It took forever to get him out. I do feel a bit guilty for cheering when he went over because he could have been hurt, but when I found out he was okay, that went away. Nonetheless my younger sis took a picture of us being guilt ridden...
So how did I find out how it all ended? I have recently communicated with some guy on Youtube who was a driver in the first heat. He said they split the money between the 3 heat winners since the power went out. I just felt like I couldn't really blog about this until I knew how it all ended.

- I was there too, it took forever to get him out. Sucked the excitement out of the air. Still, glad he was okay.zlachica 2 days ago
- @zlachica Yeah I totally agree I guess it was better to end the show by power outage than by death or serious injury. I drove the pacman #23 suburban in the 1st heat.djclue1987 1 day ago
- @djclue1987 Was there a winner? I always wondered how they determined the "final" winner that night. Don't you get money for winning? I was cheering for #31 (because he stalled in front of my seat, and he responded to my cheering) but I remember your car because it had a video game reference on it.zlachica 1 day ago
- @zlachica Yeah my truck was in the same round (heat) as #31. I have a video of it, in my other videos. The winners do get money. They take the top 3 winners from each round and give them money. The top 4 from each round advanced to the championship round, but because of the power outage they just split the winnings 12 ways to all the drivers who would have been in the championship round.djclue1987 1 day ago

Jumping the Gun and Not as Fat
So we had a cold spell, not that I would know since getting back from Alaska I have been in bed with the flu and stomach flu. Seriously I thought I was going to die. Anyway, I saw through the crack in my door that it has started turning cold. Not only did I curse Alaska for giving me such a bad illness, I cursed it because I thought I had missed the last of the warm weeks in Logan. So I have been sick sick sick. Funny thing, you can still shop online when you are sick, so I did. I bought some snow clothes for the kiddies and me, seeing that I was about to experience winter without any warning. Well I bought snow pants. If you recall I plan on going skiing A LOT this winter, and my old ski pants were pre baby, pre chubby, pre married life. They didn't fit me again after having baby number 1 and I don't think I would fit in them again seeing that I haven't properly exercised in a very long time. So I ordered new pants. Okay okay long story, I ordered the XL because it seemed reasonable. My old pants are size large, they don't fit, my new pants should be XL. Well what I forgot was when I bought my old pants I was 18, they came from the junior section. So my new pants are HUGE! Which is a huge boost to my self esteem, (not as fat as I thought I was la la la) but now I have to return them to an online store. For those of you who know me, and for those of you who don't, I hate returning things to stores and I absolutely loathe returning things through the mail. They are still sitting on the box doing nothing, as I am doing nothing with them... anyone want to buy them from me?
Well now things are absolutely beautiful outside and I am able to get out of bed and enjoy it. Maybe I was too pessimistic in buying those pants early, but it's better to be prepared. Am I right or am I right? Right?

The most Dramatic, Interesting, Next Chapter Ever!
I have a small problem... I like watching entire television series into the wee hours of the morning. Its not just TV shows, it's books, and video games too. Why can't I stop after 1 episode? Why can't I just turn it off and walk away? AHHHH! I am so tired.
I like mornings, but just because I stay up until 6 AM does not make me a morning person. I have always been a night owl. I prefer staying up late to getting up early. I just take it too far sometimes.
For instance, just yesterday/today I finished a television series. We don't have any sort of cable so I watch television shows online or on DVD, therefore I can watch the whole series and all the episodes at once. I can't help it, it's a crazy cycle. The last episode ends on a cliff hanger, then I say to myself (in my mind) I will only watch the first five minutes of the next episode, to see what happens with the cliff hanger, but by the time I look up I am already 30 minutes into it. Ahhhh! Then I usually only have 15 minutes left so why not finish it and then it ends on another cliffhanger AGAIN... I seriously did that cycle SEVEN times last night. Yes, that is seven hours, I am really pathetic. I do this with books too, just a couple paragraphs of the next chapter and then NINE chapters later I am still reading. JOY!
The crazy part about all of this, it's not the hours, it's the fact that I have such an urgency and excitement to finish off the drama/book then I feel sad at the end (regardless of the ending being happy or sad.) It's like having to say goodbye to a very good friend, like coming home from an incredible vacation, like realizing that life is actually quite dull in comparison. I miss my superficial, imaginary friends I made on the show. I miss the adventures and the all knowingness of their lives. I miss the world where magic really happens and love is as great as a musical montage.
So now I am utterly exhausted, trying to figure out how to function in reality. I constantly think of my new, really great friends and their really great story. Then I come to a realization, I have a pretty great life because of the steady routines and the love of my family. YEAH for dramas and great books. But really YEAH for my own life and lack of drama... I am one step closer to being completely content.
